Full credits will be issued, 30 days from the start of the event. Full credits requests must be received in writing by 11:59pm CST on the date listed in the table above. Twenty-nine days or less prior to the event, no credit will be issued. Credits will not be given for no-shows.
Substitute registrations (a colleague taking your place) are gladly accepted for in-person events, prior to the Friday before the event. Only one substitution is permitted per original registration. All substitution requests must be received by the date listed in the table above.

*Due to rolling enrollment for select online courses, if you choose to start a class immediately, there is no refund period. If you register beyond 30 days to your start date, the cancellation policy above applies. Standard cancellation policy applies for non-rolling enrollment classes.
SAMA reserves the right to cancel any session that does not meet a minimum number of registrants in order to ensure a quality learning experience. Sessions may also be cancelled due to unusual and extenuating circumstances including natural disasters. If a session is cancelled due to low numbers, each registrant will be notified by SAMA no later than four weeks prior to the session date. In cases of unusual and extenuating circumstances, including emergencies, each registrant will be notified by SAMA as soon as possible. If available, an attendee may substitute into another session at the event. If no other sessions are available, or the session has been cancelled due to an unusual circumstance, a full refund for that session will be issued. SAMA will not refund or reimburse for any other expenses, including, but not limited to, hotel reservations and travel expenditures.
Prepaid CSAM fees are non-refundable and candidates are subject to the same cancellation and fee forfeiture structure as all other attendees listed above. Candidates are responsible for any and all fees associated with completing their certification, including any penalties imposed by last minute cancellations or substitutions. Prepaid candidates will be invoiced for any outstanding fees associated with their certification and will not receive a certificate of completion until payment is received. Substitutions are subject to approval by our Certification & Training team. Please email email@example.com for substitutions and any other questions regarding your prepaid certification.
CSAM enrollments and assessments policy
Enrollment fees to SAMA’s Certified Strategic Account Manager program, Competency Assessment fees and Program Assessment fees may be refunded within 30 days of purchase minus a $200 administrative fee at the discretion of SAMA by notifying firstname.lastname@example.org.
Corporate and individual membership
Corporate and individual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. For individual memberships, if a member leaves a company, the membership stays with the individual.
Registration fees for SAMA’s live webinars for individual and non-members may be refunded up to the day before the scheduled event by notifying email@example.com.
Any purchase made from SAMA’s Resource Center, including but not limited to, on-demand webinars, research reports, Velocity® articles and subscriptions and any other SAMA resource are non-refundable.
Corporate and Enterprise members receive two education credits (CMECs) to attend an online CORE SAMA Academy course or any in-person SAMA Academy course occurring within the year of membership. CMECs will be returned in full if cancellation notice is given 15 days or more from the start of the event. 14 days or less from the event, the CMEC will be forfeited. No-shows forfeit the CMEC(s) used. Substitutions are allowed up to the Friday before an event begins.
Corporate and Enterprise members receive at least one free seat to SAMA’s Pan-European and/or Annual conferences in the year of their membership. Free conference seats will be returned in full if cancellation notice is given 15 days or more from the start of the event. 14 days or less from the event, the conference seat will be forfeited. No-shows forfeit their conference seat. Substitutions are allowed up to the Friday before an event begins.
