Harvey Dunham brings over 35 years of experience in strategic account management, leadership, and sustainability solutions. As Managing Director of Strategy for the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA), he helps shape the organization’s vision and thought leadership for the profession.
Prior to joining SAMA, Harvey built a distinguished career at Schneider Electric, where he held multiple leadership roles. He served as a strategic account manager (SAM), led SAM teams, and provided strategic guidance to drive sustainability solutions for global commercial, industrial, and campus-based customers.
In his final role at Schneider Electric as Vice President of Global Solutions, Buildings Business, Harvey led global teams in life sciences, retail, and sales transformation. Under his leadership, the sales transformation team introduced a consultative selling methodology, training over 100 professionals and generating a $1.9 billion pipeline in new opportunities.
Harvey also held P&L leadership roles as Schneider’s Country President in South Africa (2005–2007) and Poland (2007–2009). From 2013 until his retirement in 2015, he represented Schneider Electric at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, facilitating sustainability workshops in the U.S., Poland, Hong Kong, and Japan to drive carbon footprint reduction initiatives.
With a career spanning corporate leadership and military service, Harvey’s expertise includes strategic account management, leadership, sales, channel management, negotiation, facilitation, coaching, and process improvement.
