Sara Theis is the Vice President of Customer Excellence at Valkre, where she helps leading organizations elevate how they manage their most strategic customer relationships to drive transformational growth and long‑term value.
A strategic business leader with more than 20 years of experience across marketing, sales, communications, and strategy, Sara is known for aligning cross‑functional teams, building customer‑centric capabilities, and delivering measurable results.
Before joining Valkre, Sara led award‑winning sales and marketing initiatives at Owens Corning, serving as both a key account manager and the global leader of the company’s key account management program. Under her leadership, the program received a SAMA Excellence Award for Outstanding Young Program of the Year in 2022.
As an active member of the SAMA community, Sara has served on SAMA’s Board of Directors and is a graduate of the Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) program.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in journalism, she brings curiosity, creativity, and a collaborative mindset to every challenge — always focused on translating insights into meaningful impact.
