Nancy Murray

As Director, Key Account Management with Allnorth Consultants Ltd., Nancy drives the strategic expansion and on-going evolution of their key account management program, more affectionately known inside the organization as KAMP, with a focus on deepening collaboration with key clients and delivering value across their organizations. Nancy’s approach is rooted in the reality of a mid-sized engineering firm, where “building the bicycle while you’re riding it” is often the norm. In addition to leading a small group of dedicated key account managers, her typical day can include anything from providing one-on-one coaching to analyzing account health metrics to communicating account management best practices to collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on desired outcomes for clients. She is particularly focused on moving beyond “gut feel” decision making by leveraging digitalization to put real-time data and holistic account health metrics directly into the hands of her team.

Over the course of her 20-year career, Nancy has developed sales and marketing programs for various small and mid-sized engineering and high-tech firms across North America, serving diverse industries including oil and gas, renewable energy, pulp and paper, telecommunications, and smart buildings. Backed by executive education in marketing from Harvard Business School and certifications in strategic management and organizational change management from Mount Royal University, she brings a pragmatic perspective to the challenges of scaling a key account program in a lean, fast-paced environment.
