As Senior Director of Sales for Sonoco’s Industrial Paper Products Division in North America, Erik has commercial responsibility for the protective and partitions market segments and leads process and strategy for the strategic account program within the organization. The strategic account program supports the division’s key accounts by driving mutual value and fostering long-term business growth and retention.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science from Michigan State University, he began his career at Sonoco in 2004 as a packaging engineer focused on the field of protective packaging. Since then, he earned an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has served in a variety of technical and commercial positions, gaining extensive experience in assisting key customers in the white goods, paper, beverage, and film markets with their fiber-based packaging needs.
