Chicago, IL – January 2026 – The Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Martin as Director of Customer Solutions and Marketing, a role that reinforces SAMA’s commitment to delivering practical, high-impact value to its global member community.

Ryan brings more than a decade of experience spanning strategic account management, market access, sales leadership, and enterprise capability development within complex, highly regulated environments. Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Capabilities at Novo Nordisk, where he led large-scale initiatives to elevate account management effectiveness, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and drive measurable performance improvement across national teams.

For SAMA members, Ryan’s appointment represents a meaningful investment in solutions that are not only grounded in research and best practice but proven in real-world execution.

At the core of Ryan’s background is strategic account management excellence. As a Certified Strategic Account Manager (C-SAM), he has led complex, multi-stakeholder accounts involving senior executives, cross-functional teams, and long-term value creation strategies.
