Dominique Côté brings 30 years of experience leading commercial teams in global pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
In 2018, she founded her own advisory group, Cosawi and focuses on strategic business transformation and commercial excellence, executive coaching and leadership, SAM roadmaps, as well as Account-Based Marketing (ABM). She leads the SAMA ABM Academy.
She brings together the marriage of science, business, and customer-centric approach as her core focus with leaders and teams. She is an accomplished international business leader, recognized as a chief architect of go-to-market journeys, leading corporate changes and cultural shifts for customer-centric innovation and customer value.
During her career, she served as a commercial executive within Lifesciences companies leading global go-to-market transformations, KAM/SAM journeys, commercial excellence, and general management. She also led global marketing and innovation for big pharma and biotech groups. Her career provided her with global/varied market experience and diversified culture knowledge. She managed teams in more than 36 countries, leading activities to optimize profitability and effectiveness of commercial strategies, as well as enabling deployment of new commercial and go to market business models.
Dominique is a published author, a panelist, and keynote speaker. A principal at The Summit Group — a SAMA partner — and a certified executive coach helping leaders and teams find purpose at crossroads and critical times.
Dominique sits on the boards of private and public companies, has been on many global councils for commercial excellence, patient centricity, as well as diversity. She is on the board of NFL Biosciences, was on the SAMA Board of Directors for 15 years, and is now a distinguished advisor to the SAMA board. She also sits on the Board of Association for Key Account Management (AKAM) and is part of Women in Bio’s (WIB) executive women group amongst others.
Dominique is a visiting professor at Cranfield Business school in the UK and part of the entrepreneur Starter Upper Academy faculty in Belgium. In 2023, she was awarded the recognition of Business Transformation CEO of the Year by the Influential Businesswomen group. Dominique lives between Montréal and Brussels, Belgium to stay close to her global clients. She speaks French and English.
