What are the requirements for enrollment?

  • Candidate must be employed in a role equivalent to a Strategic Account Manager and actively managing at least one strategic account.
  • Candidate must have the support and participation of a direct manager or leader within their organization.

What is SAMA’s definition of a strategic account?

A strategic account is one of a select few customers which, according to a unique set of criteria, represent the highest potential for your company to maximize future growth and profit.

How do I enroll in the certification program?

Enroll at SAMA’s certification website.

How long does it take to complete the program?

The CSAM certification program is designed to be completed within 14 to 24 months. Additional fees will apply if the program is not completed within 24 months.

How do I pay for the program?

You may pay for the program on a pay-as-you-go basis to provide flexibility in scheduling and budget allocation. To pay for your entire program upfront, contact the SAMA certification team at certification@strategicaccounts.org.

 

How do I fulfill the in-person course requirements?

All in-person courses are done through SAMA University/SAMA Academy. Register in advance at SAMA University. SAMA Corporate Members may also elect to hold in-house training. To discuss in-house training options, contact your company’s SAMA Account Manager or Sr. Manager of Certification & Training – Frankie Cusimano at cusimano@strategicaccounts.org or 312-251-3131 Ext. 28.
